Every few years in Zavala we have some extreme weather situations.

On the 13^th of February 2021. we had snow. On the island Hvar, on average snowfalls once in 10 years. This year’s snow fell only on the south side of island Hvar and mostly in Zavala.

It started during the night and seeing everything white in the morning was a beautiful surprise. Small snowstorm. Until midday, it was a few centimetres thick and very suitable for snowballs. We took some amazing pictures of the sunniest place in Europe. Later while we were driving our snow cowered car to the Stari Grad we were both the source of wonders and small sensation.  In the afternoon it already started melting.

The next morning, a one-day miracle was gone.
