Tausend Inseln ist vielleicht etwas \u00fcbertrieben, es stimmt aber, dass wir viele Inseln haben, die meisten von ihnen sind kleine gr\u00fcne Oasen im tief-blauen Meer. Aber die Botschaft ist gut. Kahl oder bewaldet, die Inseln schwimmen im Meer wie riesige Seerosen oder aber nur Felsen, die aus dem Meer herausragen, immer aber einzigartig. Die Sch\u00f6nheit liegt in der Vielfalt und die Vielfalt ist es, warum Hvar die sch\u00f6nste unter den Inseln ist. Was das Sch\u00f6nste und Beste an Hvar ist, ist schwer zu sagen.<\/p>\n<p>Hvar bietet viel: unber\u00fchrte bewaldete Buchten am Fu\u00dfe steiler Schluchten, Felsen, wo sich die Wellen im Wind an scharfen Klippen brechen, auf der anderen Seite aber angenehme wei\u00dfe Kiesstr\u00e4nde. Dichte immergr\u00fcne Steineichen und Kiefernw\u00e4lder wechseln sich mit Karst- und Mondlandschaften ab. Im Inselinneren befindet sich fruchtbarstes adriatisches Flachland, im S\u00fcden fast senkrechte abfallende alte Weing\u00e4rten, die in der Sonne baden und noch vieles mehr&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Das alles in leuchtenden Farben und mit berauschenden D\u00fcften von Erde, Lavendel, Rosmarin und vielen anderen Mittelmeergew\u00e4chsen.<br \/>\nSeit uralten Zeiten haben sich hier die verschiedenen Kulturen und Zivilisationen vermischt, Eingesessene und Eroberer. Es haben sich Illyrer, Griechen, Venezianer, \u00d6sterreicher&#8230;ausgetauscht und verbunden, und die geschichtlich \u00e4u\u00dferst reichen St\u00e4dtchen, Festungen und H\u00e4fen gebaut und gepr\u00e4gt. Hvar war der Schauplatz einiger bedeutender Seeschlachten.
