The Republic of Croatia has launched a website and the label Safe Stay in Croatia, the Croatian version of the World Travel and Tourism Council’s “Safe Travels” label, created for safe travels around the world in order to make it easier for travelers to identify destinations and businesses which have implemented global health and hygiene standards.
The European Union has launched the ‘Reopen the EU‘ website, an interactive tool designed to ensure the safe relaunch of travel and tourism across Europe.
Testing for Covid-19 on the island of Hvar
The Epidemiology Service on the island of Hvar conducts testing of persons who need a certificate of testing for SARs-CoV-2. Sampling and testing are carried out exclusively by prior booking and arrangement on the phone number +385 (0) 91 151 2010.
Sampling takes place in the Jelsa Health Center, every working day.
The results are available in the Croatian and English languages and are sent by mail or e-mail. The
price of testing is HRK 400.00. The translation of the results into English costs an additional 50 kn.
